How do YOU roam? We are looking for a few awesome people to be our first ROAM correspondents.
We want to see the creative ways you explore the world. Show us your best outdoor adventure photos and videos, and you could be part of our first class of ROAM correspondents! We are looking for intrepid, adventurous content creators to who will be featured on our feeds and have a direct line to our editors to pitch ideas and stories. They will also be profiled on our website.
HOW TO ENTER
This is a monthly Instagram contest running from September to December 2018. Each month’s winner, as selected by the guest judge working with the ROAM editorial team, will be named a ROAM correspondent.

To enter, post a visually compelling photo or video showing us your adventure lifestyle with the hashtag #roam247 on Instagram. Please also tag @roam. Enter as many times as you like! In your captions, tell us a bit about yourself, why outdoor adventure is an important part of your life, how you like to shoot and document your adventures. Four winners will be selected—one in September, October, November, December. Winners will be notified by direct message in Instagram in the first week of the following month. By using the hashtag #roam247 you agree to the following rules and conditions.
You are also invited to post IG stories introducing yourself—tag @roam so we can check them out. You may even get featured on our feed.
Select submissions will be featured on our feed each week.
Our judges are looking for:
• skill and creativity in capturing content
• social media savvy

Sasha DiGiulian first began climbing at six years old, in 1998. She is a world champion competition climber. Outdoors, Sasha is the first North American woman to climb the grade 9a, 5.14d, recognized as one of the hardest sport climbs achieved by a female at the time. Sasha was the third woman in the world to accomplish this grade. She has accomplished multiple first ascents and 28 first female ascents around the world, including a first female ascent on the North Face of the Eiger. Sasha graduated from Columbia University in New York City, majoring in nonfiction writing and business. She is on the board of the Women’s Sports Foundation and serves as a global athlete ambassador for Right to Play, Up2Us Sports, and the American Alpine Club. In addition to climbing, Sasha has a column with Outside Magazine and has been a published writer by other publications, including National Geographic, Rock and Ice, SELF, Seventeen, and CRAVE.
